Fix “Needs a Channel” Before You Post in BOKBOK

Create Post will not send to a destination that still needs a channel or chat. That label means one more click in Channels—not a broken account.

When this helps

Trying to publish first wastes time. Finish setup, then write the caption.

What to do, step by step

You do not need extra tools. Stay in BOKBOK, follow these everyday steps, then preview before anything goes public.

  • Look at Channels for any destination that is not fully connected
  • Pick the Slack or Discord channel, or the Telegram chat
  • Wait until it shows as connected
  • Return to Create Post and select it
  • Preview, then Post now or Schedule

Tip: Facebook and Instagram do not use this channel step the same way. This is for Slack, Discord, and Telegram.

A simple habit

After you connect a new workplace chat, pick the channel immediately—before you write a post.

Frequently asked questions

Is the account disconnected?

Usually no. It is connected but still waiting for you to choose where messages should land.

Can I schedule without a channel?

No. Choose the channel first so BOKBOK knows the destination.
